Cow Parsley is a favourite food for lots of nectaring insects and is always a good place to be near if you want to see hoverflies. Today was quite good and I took just about my best ever "macro" photo Also on the "parsley or at least near by was this Brindled Hoverfly, there were in fact several if not dozens and as they are very common to my garden as well I was not surprised. very common to my garden as well I was not surprised.
